Counseling & Therapy

“I want to welcome you to my office. I have been lucky enough to spend my time working with children, teens, families and adults. Please feel comfortable discussing your concerns and have a place you can visit knowing you will find support.”

Daniel Wysocki, Ed.S.

Not everyone goes to counseling for change. Some want to understand themselves better or might benefit from ongoing support. Anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life experiences prevent us from reaching our full potential. I want you to have the opportunity to share your personal story with the goal of inspiring growth, change, balance, and, sometimes, action.

Individuals, Families, Children and Teens

Sometimes we need a moment of calm in our lives to figure out what is going on. Counseling for individuals, families, children and teens can provide this still safe space. Most families or individuals I meet with are needing some support to get through unexpected change. There could be disruption in the family, or a parent is feeling stressed and overwhelmed. Some people come because they are a bit on edge, or they want to understand themselves or partner better. Some teenagers come because they are angry, worried and benefit from the ongoing support and challenge of a helpful, caring, and insightful therapist.

Benefits of Therapy

with Daniel Wysocki Ed.S.

Shorter periods of suffering

The time it takes to feel better in counseling sessions with Wysocki Psychological Services varies depending on the person and the specific issues being addressed. Some clients may notice positive changes after only a few sessions, while others might require longer-term therapy. Although many individuals can adapt to difficulties over time, tackling them alone may take years. We provide the place to reset, slowdown, and learn about yourself to shorten the time of suffering, helping you return to enjoying your daily life sooner.

Daniel Wysocki Ed.S. is a licensed professional with the Arkansas Psychology Board, holding an advanced degree that allows him to provide counseling. More Than Just a Game: Sports as a Missing Piece in Girls’ Mental Wellness

The disproportionate impact of the pandemic on girls’ mental health underscores the urgent need for promoting their continued engagement in sports. By providing accessible opportunities, encouraging participation, and dismantling societal pressures that discourage girls from sports, we can create a supportive environment that empowers them to build resilience, confidence, and a healthy sense of self, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being.
